BooHoo Ramblers

BIOGRAPHY

In the Spring of 2002, Clark Ashton (guitar, vocals), Patrick Mitchell (fiddle), & Pete Frisina (bass) assembled at Clark’s Commuter Gallery studio in Decatur, GA to work up a set of tunes based on traditional music with acoustic instruments. They released their self-titled debut CD in 2004. Their 2nd disc "Other Side of Heaven"(2007) brought the addition of drums and guest musicians. They toured Ireland in 2008 and 2009, and Maine in 2010.

Now in 2016, celebrating over 14 years and 500+ gigs as a working band, they have evolved into a standard rock lineup with Stewart Brown on lead guitar and Mike Gamble on drums.

The BooHoo Ramblers remain a roots-oriented group playing original and cover tunes that blend traditional, Country, Folk, Rock, and Bluegrass styles, a.k.a., Rockin' Foot-Stompin' Americana. They are currently pursuing all opportunities to perform their unique and exciting sound in venues near and far.
